Saint Venant, France

At 56 miles or 89 km South East of Calais, Saint Venant is a perfectly charming free stop after arriving in/heading out of France by Euro Tunnel/Le Shuttle or ferry.

Saint Venant did not disappoint with its French charm, beautiful riverside bike rides and adorable little ducklings swimming right by the van, plus a great harbour side bar just a stone throw away from the Aire - across a working lock.

A stroll into town, along the delightfully traditional streets and you have everything you need for your stay, including not one, but two patisseries, a supermarket and cafes.

“A free aire in a charming location, with van services free of charge - what more could you ask for”

All van services are available here free of charge, making this a totally great spot to relax after or before crossing the channel, definitely worth while stopping over for a couple of nights.

Type: Free

Services: Water, Water Disposal, W.C disposal, Bins, Electric Hook-Up (2hours)

Coordinates: Lat 50.6255, Long 2.5494
